What The F@%k?
Starting off the conversation, Alexa Carlin explains how her latest WTF moment centers on women talking about things they want to do but not acting on it. Or worse, going about it halfway and letting self doubt and the fear of failing get in the way.

Turning ideas into reality
Alexa admits that despite her shyness, she got her start by making history at her high school at only 17 years old and using that momentum to envision a future for herself that carried the same impact. And then she got to work.

Overcoming the mental hurdles
Success never comes easily, and this is no different for Alexa’s journey. Alexa shares with Tiffany some tips on overcoming the mental hurdle that can get in the way of moving forward, and what it means to stay committed to your goals.

When did it click for you?
“Write it down and let it flow out.” We can all relate to having some bad ideas, and Alexa discusses how she filters through the plethora of ideas that come to her, and, when a really goo done comes along, how she goes about bringing it to life.

What’s your business philosophy?
Alexa’s personal and business philosophies may differ slightly, but the overall idea remains the same: making a positive impact in the lives of the people she shares the world with.

What makes a leader authentic?
The key word in being an authentic leader is “authentic,” and Alexa explains how adding your true self into your work and going about it with confidence, not only in your work but in yourself, is what really makes leadership authentic. How do you get people to pay attention to your message? First, you have to share your story and embrace vulnerability.

Anything else?
When it come to the future, Alexa advises that you really think about your life, and what you want out of it. What do you want to feel? How can you get there? What are you doing each week that you can count as an accomplishment? And most importantly, are you understanding of your own worth?
